I get woken up by an e-mail (to my cell) from NCIX saying theres an update in my order. I looked and it was the same information I saw online two days ago. Either way I very happily went back to sleep.

An hour later I get another email that wakes me up, it's from NCIX "your price match failed". The email told me to go to my order page. I got up, went to the page and it said "please accept our closest price match offer"....... WHICH WAS THE SAME PRICE MATCH. Even the url was the same?!

Another delay I guess... But at least I am getting the price match I wanted.

Finally got through. That was a long hold. No 3820tgs left, was advised by rep to call somewhere else. He said he's not suppose to endorse his competitor but it doesn't look like any 3820tgs are left... :-(

If you're in no rush, maybe wait for a week or two. Retailers might update their inventory with newer versions of the 3820TG.

Boxing day rush + such a sweet deal + limited stock (NCIX probably carried a dozen or two at best) = this kind of situation.

Also it seems that mem express didn't discontinue it yet, wait for the site maintenance tonight (31st 9 PM), they might update with new stock or something overnight.
