My Acer 5920 came with NTI Backup NOW! 4.7. When I tried to start it, it first said it was missing the file mfc71.dll. So I downloaded the file. I tried to start it again, but now it says it isn't installed right and I need to re-install it. Of course, Acer didn't provide a disc with the software.

Is there anyway I can get the problem fixed without a disc?

PS: The NTI CD & DVD MAKER does open just fine.

The file may not be in the right folder/directory?

The file isn't the problem anymore. The program moves a bit further now.

I just re-read my post and I realise it might be confusing. I was trying to say that the program says it (the program itself) needs to be installed again, not the file.
