Hi , I need som help guys.
I have acer aspire 5920g with currently nvidia 8600GT inside.
I have bought Nvidia Geforce GT 120M 1GB MXM II ! When I put this card inside, i get only black screen. Where is the problem? is there any chance at all, that I could make it work? i would appreciate if you could let me know or help me out.
This card was working on Asus K61IC.
Graphic card:

What can we do? thanx
I have updated upgrade bios with file 5920G_MXM_V3.WPH, but there is no picture on monitor, but laptop is working...
if I put old graphic card inside, than acer works fine...

Yeah, Asus cards are generally shaped different or have different drivers.
Just revert to your original card and move on, you can show off the card to your friends and stuff -
Hey, thanx for reply.
I will try to sell it or buy Asus laptop without GPU.
but if anyone has a solution... please let me know. -
Looks like a ROM-less card to me. Check out http://forum.notebookreview.com/not...-phoenix-how-get-romless-video-card-work.html - alternatively, a ROM "+20kOhm" mod can be done, but requires soldering skills (and you have to find the soldering points yourself, as I don't have access to this particular card).
