    Need Help!!! interrupted operation: insert recovery CD or other recovery media and reboot your PC

    hi i need some help with my computer:
    when i turn it on it says "interrupted operation: insert recovery CD or other recovery media and reboot your PC..." while i edit partition in My 5920g and then it cannot do anything and still happen this message anyway i don't have any recovery CD's for vista home. Is there anything else i can do?

    Dude, I think something wrong happened when editing the partitions...Can't you use D2D partition to recover the original settings ?

    hold down ALT key and press F10 when the ACER BIOS SCREEN first appears.. that should start the D2D factory restore process!!!

    i haven't try yet but have one question that If i format EISA configuration drive(recovery partition drive 9.7gb) and burn an original program to DVD, Does Alt+F10 still work?

    if you have deleted that recovery partition the ALT+F10 will not be able to find the data it looks for on the HDD...

    just reformatting the HDD will not cause a prob,,, but if you deleted that HIDDEN partition the ALT+F10 may not even start the recovery routine,,,

    i think the atl+f10 is a feature of a SPECIAL ACER MBR,,, and if you wiped the hidden partition,, or loaded an OS from a NON ACER disk,, (OEM or other manufacturer) then you may be outta luck...

    sounds like it's time to send it to ACER so they can reload the HDD...

    or get a cppy of VISTA and put it in the CD drive and see what happens..

    those are your 2 options as i see it... maybe someone else has an idea.. but with out the recovery disks you are very limited

    Thanks. But can i format all drive and re-install vista by press something which i don't know?(if i don't want to recovery anymore)
