So, i bought the acer aspire 6920g. There was no recovery cd or windows cd in the box. Then i found out that i should burn the recovery into cd´s, when a pop-up showed on the bottom right side of the screen. So i did that, but suddenly an error came, and the burning stoppet.

Now i cant really find out, where to start the burning again?

this has been a common problem

what is the error that you are getting??

try this... boot up in SAFEMODE

by pressing F5 or F8 right after the Acer screen disappears....might have to press/release a few times

    choose SAFE MODE

now try burning the disks while in safe mode....
a lot of the errors durring burning are because of apps in the start bar... so close/exit/shutoff all of those you can before burning...

    see if that helps

are you trying to create FACTORY RESTORE DISKS??

my eRestore never made a file on the HDD... it burned disks straight from the hidden partiton to the DVDs

so i'm kind of confused by your "creating a backup file"

maybe a different version of the eRecovery Software?
