    Need Help Acer 6930 Shorts out

    I have a Acer 6930 Laptop and when you push the on switch it comes on and goes out immediately like its shorting something out and you cant get the power back to the switch until you remove the battery and then if you push the switch it does the same thing i have bought another power button and ribbon as i thought it was that but not anybody have the same problem and if so how did you fix it

    Sounds more like a mobo issue to me.
    One of the capacitors for example...
