    HI.

I have the 8.9 version for the Aspire One netbook (A150) with a 3 cell battery. I decided I want to upgrade to a 6 cell battery. I need this for the work I doing. However, I'm having a hard time finding a 'reputable' place and battery for it.

In my research, the 6 cell batteries come in 4400mAh, 4800mAh and 5200mAh. Most of these are the aftermarket type (non-Acer) batteries. I hear some of the 10.1's are coming out with 5800mAh batteries, but I can not find those batteries on-line anywhere. However, most of the sites (such as global-laptop-batteries, mambate, and many others) I looked at, do not have good reputations or reputations at all (meaning I could not find any site that had any info or reviews on them, even the BBB). I am hoping Aspire One owners in this forum whom have upgraded their batteries to a 6 cell 5200mAh can help me out in finding a reputable aftermarket place to buy said battery or the best place to get an Acer 5200mAh battery.

After all my research with the online stores and battery reviews, I am leaning toward getting an Acer battery to guarantee its quality. I did check Acer Store-US online but they want $129 for their 6 cell 5200mAh. I do not want to pay that kind of money when I brought the netbook for $350. Provantage.com has an actual Acer battery for $99.37. I am thinking of ordering from them. Has anyone had any experience with getting an actual Acer battery from Provantage? Did you find it to be an actual Acer or an aftermarket battery? There is also BeachAudio.com for $109.99. They too say their battery is an actual Acer battery. Has anyone ordered their Acer battery? These are both cheaper than the Acer store, but still more expensive than I really want to pay. I guess I have to pay for quality. Any other suggestions to get a real Acer battery would be greatly appreciated. (P.S. I really can not justify spending $300+ on a newer 6cell 10.1 netbook either right now so a new 6cell battery is the cheaper route to go).

Thanks in Advance for your advise and help! :)
