My Acer Aspire 2003's backlight needs replacing (at least according to a local repair shop).
I could send it in to Acer, but was wondering if there are any other shops which do this cheaper with which anyone here has had experience.
Thanks

I used this place once, with great outcome!!.
I had an extended warranty so why repair it myself, right?
Anyway, they sent me a box and had contact with them the whole time about the repair process. Always answered my emails everytime (I sent 3). They repaired what it needed (replaced the LCD display) and I had it back in 8 days. The only thing that I didnt like was. They sent it back in the same box with just bubble wrap around the whole unit with the power supply and cord on top of the notebook (all wrapped together tight). It made it with only one scratch 1 inch long on the top which I was expecting "something" to happen when you ship something, always something happens it seems, so I was ready for it.
But it works fine still, after almost a month later. But as far as price? Sorry about that. Mine was under warranty. But the experence was just alittle sore from the scratch. LOL....and the return bubble wrap with the same box used twice.. But anyway a 81/2 out of a 10 on the experence.
Need backlight replaced. Experiences?
