That auto folder drag is quirky and causing me to move files around when i just want to click on them!!! It doesn't matter if i use the touchpad or mouse.. How can it be disabled.. It's causing me nothing but troubles.. I think i have about five duplicate folders named "desktop", and "documents" accidently dragged in various locations due to it!

I gotta put this mouse down once and for all! Who's got the cheese! :)

Look at your mouse options in control panel, and ensure that one click dragging is not enabled.

Also, at your mouse properties look for the Device Settings tab, select Synaptics Touchpad V..... , and press settings.

It has a bunch of settings that not many people bother about.

The one you are looking for is under Tapping --> Tap and Drag
