    Hi guys,

    Following are my laptop specifications
    - Intel Core i3 - 370M processor
    - 2 GB DDR3 RAM (Single slot)
    - 500 GB HardDisk
From CPU - Z, i got following information
    DRAM frequency - 532.2 MHz
    FSB :DRAM - 4:16

I have started using some softwares which consumes high amount of memory/CPU. So i am planning to upgrade my RAM.
It would be great if anyone can suggest me which RAM should i buy with what frequency?

dont listen to him he just recommended you 2 stick of ram for your single slot.

    This is what you want Amazon.com: Corsair 4GB (1x4GB) DDR3 1066 MHz (PC3 8500) Laptop Memory (CM3X4GSD1066): Electronics

It could be $5 cheaper butt hn you would get some random brand.

Also your would be required to install a 64bit operating system to fully utilize this. You can still use your cd-key with it as long as its the same windows version Home Premium,Ultimate etc

so if you had home premium then unstalled home premium 64bit the cd-key will still work.

You would also need to install 64bit drivers

I didn't recommend any combination, I just posted the Crucial.com's recommendation, why are you getting so excited, keep cool, no one stopping your suggestion, get cracking without personal attacks, that's too bad.
