    Need help finding Acer 3050 SATA Driver for XP Install

    I have looked everywhere and even found some SATA drivers that worked for other Acer SATA laptops, but not the 3050. I looked at other posts for the 3050 on this forum which helped me get other drivers, but not the SATA drivers. Please help, I need these asap. Thank you!

    the 3050 uses the ATI express1000 chipset with the SB400(460) southbridge.

    typically these boards will emulate IDE and you don't need a driver to install xp
