    Hi guys,

Recently I broke up my laptop by doing a wrong flash. Now, after many researches I found that there greater possibilities of bringing it back to life using recovery disks, but for that I need the original BIOS (3A33). I have the 3A45 which can be found on acer website.

So, I come here to ask you, the owner of an Aspire 1652 with an ATI X300 graphics, to backup your original BIOS and send it to me through a file hosting site or by email (contact me for sharing the email).

You have to use winphlash in Windows and choose the option to backup (Backup only - option) within the program (a perfectly safe operation). The installer can be found here, which is included with the 3A45 BIOS. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/4904757/BIOS_3A45(ATI M22).zip

Please, help me revive my Acer.

    Thanks in advance!
