Hi, first excuse my poor english (I m french). I bought an acer aspire 9302 WSMI is june 2007, and today it s already a dead laptop. I regret that I bought this brand, they never update any driver and the after purchase service is only about making more money !

I repaired it last year for 180 euros, and it`s down again. The guy told me that it was the graphic card that was decollate from the motherboard because of the heat. When I start it there is nothing, not even a bip.
I want to replace the chipset myself with the same one from another aspire 9302 (if I can find one). But I never do that before, I removed the screws but wasn`t able to open it. If there is pictures somewhere please tell me, if you have any infos they are welcome.

    Thanks.

Thanks for your reply but it`s not enough to help me, I need photo because I don`t know how to remove the keyboard, I don`t know what is the middle cover too ! I never opened a laptop, but I know I can handle that with a photo tutorial if I can find one...

    It`s the AMD Turion 64x2 TL-50 that I have.
