Ok last week my laptop was working fine then last sunday all of sudden I couldnt get it to turn on at all. Well when I tried to turn it on on Monday it started up like there was never any problem so I obviously backed up files I had on it. I then tried to reset the computer to factory settings, it went to restart then froze after the white acer screen. The screen was black with a white cursor. I removed the hardrive i removed the fan, the copper heater core, and the chip under the heater core. Put them all back and had the same problem so I removed all again and put back. Now when i power on my laptop nothing happens. I hear the fan run and thats it. Green power lights are, I do not hear the harddrive and the screen stays black. I have tried powering on with and without the battery. Please help and im keepin my fingers crossed that hopefully this is nothing super major that maybe i can fix on my own pretty cheap!

Something that needs testing its the memory module .

If you have just one , there is no much that you can do ...... other than find another one and test it .
