Well this is my info on my comp
    First off I have a:
    -Aspire 5375-4624
    -Intel Pentium dual-core processor T3200 @2.0 GHz,667 MHz FSB, 1MB L2 cache
    -160 GB HDD
    -732 MB Mobile Intel Graphics
    Media accelerator 4500M

i wasn't sure if this is a safe temp or anything, but my fan kept coming on and off so i was a little confused about that. If its not a problem that would be good to know :)
    Temperatures
    CPU 47 °C (117 °F)
    Hitachi HTS543216L9A300 45 °C (113 °F)

Temperatures are relatively normal. Definitely no problem there. Problem starts if HDD temp is above 60 and CPU above 80. Especially in idle state.

those temps look good. are they your idle temps or are you running a few program's ?
do you have the laptop on your lap or on a flat hard surface.?

    then those temps are normal.
if you are worried or you are getting a hotspot on your laptop.
Buy/make a cooling pad, well worth the investment.

    all the best.
