I bought the acer 5672WMLi off ebay express about 2 maybe 3 weeks ago, and i put a Sony MS Pro Duo memory card from my psp into the card reader. all was well i took the film off there and put it onto my laptop.

however, for some reason it stopped coming up on my computer anymore, and also its stuck.

i removed it with a pair of scissors and i was careful not to touch any other the components inside. after i removed it i inserted my memory stick from my w810i but it doesnt read at all! and i have no idea why.

is there any way i may have disabled the card reader? or is it broken?

i have warranty with the seller off ebay so if it turns out to be broken then can get it fixed

    Thanks

    Deep

Always use the adapter for pro duo... saves the problem..

I made that mistake the other day, but luckily I remembered before I pushed the main card in that I had a adaptor!

Does your card reader work reliably? Mine only works sporadic.

Yeah, you need to push it quite hard to get it to work. What I hate about the card readers is when using full size SD cards! Its not spring loaded which means taking out my sd card usually results in my fingers getting very very sore...
