    Hi friends....

    Am looking for an Acer machine in USA Newyork.....
    Configuration am looking for is...

    Core 2 Duo 1.6 GHZ or more....but < 2 GHz with FSB 667 MHz or more.
    2 GB RAM
    NVIDIA Graphics card with 256 MB
    DVD -+RW
    Web cam
    15/"15.4"/17" Screen
    Stantard connectivity features including in built Blue tooth,802.11a/b/g
    VGA port
    120 GB HDD or more with 5400 RPM or more
    os Windows XP(preffered) o rWindows Vista Home premium/Ultimate


    Would be really great some specific model numbers are given.....
    The acer website doesn't pin point to exact model number other than the first 4 digits....

    And my budget is 900$-1300$

    The rest of us seem to be able to do our own shopping. If you require a personal assistant for this purpose hire one.

    Please read and follow the FAQ(sticky) in the what notebook should I buy section of the forum. You will get better help there than asking random questions in here. Everything you stated here from price, specs etc can be filled out and posted in said section and someone will advise you. :)

    Those 4 digits are the model number. For example:

    Aspire 5633
    Travelmate 2355

    I am really sorry....
    I am not a resident of USA and is not in USA currently..
    But I am planning a trip to USA soon and thought of buying one from there
    Your reply could help me in finding a better model soon....
    If what I asked was wrong I apologize to you......

    By the way I have already gone through some model but couldn't find a right choice..

    I preffered an Acer notebook(thats why I posted in Acer section) as in my country there are many Acer clinics
    But the cost of laptop is really high here and so was planning to get one from USA.........

    I saw the model Acer AS5920-6313 at BestBuy...
    Does it have a port to connect to external monitor/LCD projector?
