Hi there, congrats with your new purchase and i hope you enjoy it!

Well, the gpu seems interesting... what does the "A" mean in front of the 8600M GT? Is there any significant performance difference between that compare to our normal 8600M GT?

    Congrats!!!

I think the graphic card on his 5920G just has more dedicated memory than the regular version.

    I'm jealous...

you should be able to install the 64bit vista if you have the anytime upgrade disk as you can use either 32 or 64 bit if you have a oem copy

wow nice, grats. Mind telling us how much and where you bought at? Does it include hd-dvd? or blu-ray drive. I heard that some new acer's have blu-ray's instead of the hd-dvd now.

Has anyone tried the ASUS 8600M GT 256MB GDDR3 in there 5920G yet, to verify it works.. I think MXM-UPGRADE tested some type II MXM cards, and although they fit, some will not boot. Just curious to know if the VIDEO BIOS has to be flashed over with the ACER one to get it to boot/work.

The 256mb/GDDR3 would be the card to get, as the 512mb/GDDR2 one would make no differance at all..
