I just purchased an AS1410 and have been researching memory modules. Amazon has one for $32, which is a 200 pin 667 Mhz stick. I bought the laptop from ebiz and they have several modules for sale but don't list exact applications. They list a DDR2-667 SODIMM 2GB/128x8 Value Notebook Memory; is this the memory that will fit my AS1410??

Have you tried going to the memory manufacturers website and using their online memory config tool to recommend particular compatible memory sticks? They all have this feature on their websites. That way you will get memory that has almost always been tested or guaranteed to work in your particular laptop/netbook.

I'd get another Samsung module. Good quality and can be flashed to 800MHz. Dual channel works perfectly, too.

Thanks for the advice...any clue where the best place to purchase a samsung module? Also, what's the advantages to flashing to 800MHz and how would I go about doing it?

You can buy them anywhere, I got mine off eBay. 800MHz will improve gaming performance slightly, dual channel will improve gaming very much. Other than that you won't notice it in normal usage. Check Timeline Tweaks for instructions how to flash the Samsung RAM.
