I noticed there's a new video driver on Acer's website (Canadian site since I'm in Canada). I d/loaded it and tried to install it but it doesn't work. XP gives me an error about the driver or something saying a file can't be installed. I ended up keeping the old driver in for now. Anyone have problems installing the new video driver?

I've uninstalled the old driver before trying to install the new one and tried updating the old driver without any success.

What about this "Omega driver" I keep hearing about? Is it a straight forward install or is there things I should watch out for?

You may want to try running the ATI Mobility Modder from www.DriverHeaven.net and see if it'll work. Acer may be using ATI's driver from their site, but it won't work on ATI Mobility GPU's.
