    Acer WebCam Software

This software is special as it is from CyberLink instead of the usual SuYin, Chicony.
Works on older Acers With Chicony WebCam hence no reason it shouldn't work on SuYin WebCams.
    -Features
    1. New Better looking UI
    2. More Image Adjustment
    3. 1 Click AutoUpdate from CyberLink
Download the software from Acer here

Unfortunately there is no 32bit version, Acer stopped supporting 32bit Windows in their new laptops.
FYI the link is actually the WebCam Application for Acer Aspire 5740G

    Nvidia PureVideo

By default we don't get PureVideo for Nvidia Graphics on Acer.
Maybe Acer didn't pay for them as you know Acer Laptops are cheap :D

But there is a way to get them...from SONY (Only SONY has it No Other OEMs has it) :p.
Simply go to SONY Site and Download their Nvidia Driver.
SONY Driver With PureVideo (FTP Make sure the FTP ports are not blocked it doesn't support HTTP over FTP)
Double Click to extract and hold the screen and then go to the folder
    Code:
    C:\Users\{YourUserName}\Appdata\Temp
You will see weird folders with weird files but this is the location where Windows ALWAYS store temporary extracted files.
So find the folder contain the SONY Nvidia Driver then Find the executable:
    PVSonyDll.exe (PV Stands for PureVideo)
Sort the list by Date if you have trouble navigating.

Run and install the PV executable and it is done.

PureVideo is something which enhances Video Playback you may or may not notice any difference.

The link appears to point to a Win7 64-bit version. Are there separate versions for other OS's and, if so, how do you access them? I've tried going back a level on the Acer site pointed to, but just get "Access is denied".

Edit: And when I look at the setup.ini file it appears to list options for all sorts of obsolete OS's like Windows ME, 85,98,NT4 etc. This seems at odds with the title of Win 7 64-bit.

I'm also a little alarmed if Acer have gone 64-bit only as I, and others, are still fighting that OS and trying to tame all the audio problems.
