Hi everybody Hope this doesn't sound to stupid but.
I just bought an Acer 5536 from the local retail store.
got it home and turned it on and was asked for a password to sign in as 1ZZZ
ie user name is 1ZZZ it needs a password to get any further.
    the password hint is lala.
tried calling support but they are closed.
    Anyone got any ideas?
Is this normal or has someone uswed this laptop before.
the baox was not sealed when I got it of the salesman who assured me it was new.
    Please help

That is not normal. If you paid for a brand new one, you should get it! Not an used on. Go back to the store and ask for a new one!

In this case, the laptop is not new. It should start with the OS installation. Go back to the store and ask a new one.
