Hi all, first of all i would like to congratulate all members out there, i've been reading a lot of usefull information in this forum, and i was able to solve a lot of problems, and for that tank you!
Now im looking to find a new (used) graphic card for my acer 5920g because my 9500 m GS "died". I will try the " oven" but i would like a stable solution. Which graphic card you think i should buy? In this forum on some older treats i saw some users recommending HD 4650 and others 9600 m gt. What do you think this is the best solution? I would like to buy a new one to avoid the classic problem that nvidia 8600 series suffer. I know that some BIOS modded in this forum are no longer available. Is there a solution that doesnt need the BIOS modded, even that i do a downgrade? Also in order to buy a new one it has to be exclusively from an acer laptop? Tanks in advance, and a nice year for everyone.

I can not recommend a specific graphics adapter, but what I can say is that I swapped the 8600M GT for the HD4650 and it went without major problema and without a modded bios.

Tanks n00gz. I'm thinking about your model too, because, i want to avoid the change of bios. What were your main concerns when you bought the graphic card? You bought a new one or a used one?

I bought a used one, model number VG.M9606.005. According to helpful information from this forum, cards with this model number were reported to work in the 5920G
