I am new to the forum.

I am trying to find out some information that no one at either the manafacturer (Acer - because its an old model) or computer store phone lines (PC World) can tell me. Dabs don't have a helpline.

    Please help!

Does anyone have either a Acer Extensa 4620Z (laptop with XPP) or a Acer Extensa 21 (desktop PC with XPP)?

I need to know what colour the 'status indicators' or 'power lights' are? And if they have a TFT Screen (matt looking screen) or shiny screen (crystal brite?)

I am photosensitive and need to know the colours of any lights on either the laptop or PC.

All the laptops or PC's I have been looking at have blue lights according to the manafacturers (which affects my photosensitivity) so if anyone could please let me know I would appreciate it.

If anyone can advise a laptop or PC which doesn't have any blue lights on (green is okay) - Thanks in advance.

mine are green and non of them flash end the cpu indicater is so dull you can hardly see it.
i got the crystal brite screen that runs at 60Hz.

    but sorry its a 7110-7112.

hope you find what you want, and i will take a look about for you.

    best of luck
    Phil :D

Its bad isn't it. BL's are everywhere! The sales staff have said a number of time "can't you just cover it over with some plastic"!!

I will check out the models you mentioned.

    THANK YOU! :)

thats one of the reasons i have become a big acer fan.no frills, cheap and as long as its treated well will last for ages.im now using my five year old travelmate which is still as good as the day i got it.
no flashing lights but only a tiny 20Gb HDD.but it still works perfect :D
