I have a ACER 9810 I love it use it everday amazing but I have some how within the graphics card made the laptop display inactive so ofcourse now when i start it up i do not get a screen at all. I have tried to hook it to 2nd monitor and done all I can but no display there either when starting up its fine shows ACER screen even windows XP but after that nothing any thoughts guys. Is there a way to get to the start menu without actually seeing the screen thanks.

hit f8 when your booting it up befor you see the winxp logo and go into safe mode. Change your display settings to the lowest value.

    Hey Advan,

I also had some problems like that with other notebooks. THe best thing you can do is try to format the notebook. If formatting is not succesful due to Blue Screen of Death or other things that go wrong then I would say that you should use your warranty.
