    Hello all,

I have an Acer 6930G with a cracked screen, I'm trying to connect it to a VGA monitor. HDMI output works perfectly, but VGA always displays no signal, no matter what display I connect it too. I ran a tool from Acer's website, and it says that the laptop has 2 GFX cards, a NVIDIA card and an ATI card. Any help would be appreciated.

It doesn't have two graphics card that's for sure - either nVidia or ATI.
Acer 6930G has an MXM-II module and one card in it- most likely nVidia one.

Do you have proper driver and control panel for the card installed?

    The Nvidia drivers are installed.
and the Nvidia control panel detects the monitor, but the monitor still displays no signal.
