Hi, I'm a newbie so please be gentle! :)
I have an Acer Travelmate7514 running Windows XP.
When my machine goes into Hibernate mode, it refuses to restart when I press the power button. I get a series of bars building across the bottom of the screen telling me that it is about to restart but when all the bars are complete it just freezes.
I then have to press the power button twice (delay about 10 seconds in between) and on the second time it asks if I want to continue with the restart or reboot completely - I have to go for the second option or I just get stuck in a loop.
Next, I get a screen saying that there is an error on a disk and that the system wants to run a check - it takes ages but never finds anything. It then proceeds to reboot.
    Any ideas out there?
