OK, I have been able to install most all of the missing drivers after my new OS install.......
The only problem I'm having is the wireless adapter is not recognized in device manager. There is a "network controller" that has no driver. I have installed the broadcom driver from acer site, but it won't work.
When I press the wireless button, it will toggle between wlan enabled, and wlan disabled, but I can't figure it out
    Any help on this one?

I purchased it from an online retailer of refurbished laptops. It appears to be in brand new condition.
I reinstalled the os and all drivers I could find. It has a sticker on the bottom that claims it has a broadcom bcm94312 card.
As I said, it claims there is an unknown device, I think it's the wireless thing....... :)

Have you had it scan itself for new hardware? Open device manager and tell it to do that. The wireless card should not show as an unknown device.

Right Click your computer's main entry (Computer name), and it should pop up "Scan for Hardware Changes". Click it, and it should find your card.

Attached is a shot of my Dev Manager, with the entry you should rt click (obviously, yours won't be DaddyBear)...

I did the scan several times, and it didn't find the wifi card...... I know it's in there, I've taken the back coverplate off, and it's right there.
Would this mean I need a new wifi card? If I replace it, I'm afraid it won't recognize the new one either.
Should I take the wifi card out, and put it back in while the computer is running? Maybe it would detect it then?
    -Thanks, Matt

I'm looking for this driver. Can you tell me where to find it? None of the drivers on Acer's website work.
