    Hi.

I have a Acer 5024 WLMi. Yesterday I noticed strange noises coming from the earphones when I'm on a desktop. You can hear the noises all the time. It cracks sometimes and when the dvd or hard disk activates the cracks and noises gets louder. It's strange because yesterday nothing was wrong.

Day before yesterday I replaced the old Travelstar HD with a new Samsung and three days ago I upgraded to a latest firmware of Lite-on dvd drive. Could this be an electronical disturbance of some kind? I've installed new AC'97 drivers - nothing.

edit: oh yeah.. there's nothing wrong with the ear phones.
