    Hi,
I recently I installed Norton 360 and used one User account then I re-installed Vista, now before I put Norton 360 back is it possible to continue with my first user? I don't want to activate another user. I know with I-tunes your meant to de-activate your computer before you re-install windows. Was I supposed to de-activate my Norton before I re-installed?

This whole "upto 3 PC's" is a load of ballox, I want to find the person who thought up this idea and give them such a slap.

youll have to call symantec to get the old install removed most likely. However, I would avoid any symantecrap application like the plague. Unless, of course, you like your brand spanking new laptop to run like a 386.

It came free with the laptop, I guess that gives a hint to how good Norton is. Since it was free and a years free subscription I thought I may as well use it.

I normally prefer Mc Afee which I was going to buy when my Norton subscription runs out but now you even have that "3 users per pc" crap for Mc Afee.

What would is the best Internet secruity out there?

    not using internet explorer.

short of that just about all of them are equal, you can still get a virus with any of em installed pretty easily. I use chrome mainly now, firefox is a good alternative. Avoid IE at all costs and get AVG free is my suggestion.
