    Hi, I'm new here I don't know if I'm posting in the right place most wanted to know if you have to give processor upgrade.

    My Specifications

    Acer Aspire 4315-2259
    Intel Celeron 2.0GHz
    1GB - Memory Ram - 667.0 MHz - DDR2
    HD 80GB
    Cache - 1.0 MB

    Video Card Brand - Intel
    Video Card Model - GMA X3100
    Video Card Memory - 350.0 MB

    If your motherboard is Intel GL960, which I google since You didn't mention yours, You will be able for sure to upgrade it inside Celeron M family up to Celeron M 570 (2.26 GHz) but...
    In theory you might be able to upgrade it up to Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile, e.g T8300(2,4GHz), T9500(2,6GHz) but keep in mind that the power consumption of mentioned cpus is 4W higher


    IMO, first, try to invest in more ram...
