Those temps are normal. The 5930 tends to run pretty hot, especially the HDD. People have reported typical temperatures in the 5930 owners thread ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=306119)
The first step I would recommend is to update your GPU drivers if you haven't done so already. The best drivers are nVidia 179.48 or the Dox customised ones, both can be downloaded from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/
The second thing I would recommend is to buy a notebook cooler if you plan to do a lot of gaming, it makes a huge difference to temperatures. My GPU never goes above 75C when gaming with a cooler -
But they last long. In spite of the practise of sealing the HDD in a sealed compartment
I would love to speak to an Acer engineer and find out why they do this.
Surely, they must have a reason?????

They did fix that practice a design or two ago - my 6920G's hard drive is in the centre of the laptop in a vented area. It's a nice change from my old TravelMate 3250, in which the hard drive was shoved under the palmrest without any vents.

i would be surprised its normal i mean are people saying that
a card which runs at 90 deg c under load
and
a card which runs at 70 deg c under load
are going to have the same lifespans? hrmm...
Could be the difference between the card failing in 1 1/2 - 2 years or failing in 4 years...doesnt matter to the manufacturer because its outside warranty -
Glad Acer changed their design for the better.
Cheers
