OC results for Ati 5850 GDDR3 in Acer 8942g

From P5800 in Vantage @ default 625/800 and 1V to P7600 @ 840/1100 and 1.150V. I think the memory limit is 1150 and core limit 850 MHz at 1.150V. I used Trixx.

I game at lower speeds: 730/1000 @ 1V. In games temp went from max 71C up to 73-74C after 1 hour gaming. No coolers or anything. No problems either.

I hope this info helps if someone wants to try.

Edit: I tried 850/1150 and got P7850 in Vantage. I saw some artifacts.
Edit 2: 890/1100 gives also around 7850 - but much less artifacts. VRAM max is 1100. GPU max is 890. 900 freezes and recovers.
Edit 3: 900/1125 worked! P8012 - but with artifacts.

 

Do you have a paid version of vantage?

If so could you run a high preset score? Would be interesting to compare our cards.

unfortunately I don't have a paid version so I can't run this preset, but I can try some other setting if you want or we can try some other benchmark. I have Unigine installed. Can you see this: Result
Now it says 7823 at 890/1100.

And you have tested 6770 with GDDR5 right? I could try 875/1125 to compare speeds clockwise if you want?

 

My test was run at 900/1125.

Got some artifacts in the first test (Jane Nash), but Calico was ok. P8012 - first time over 8000! Result
