Yes!, as the title says! Acer finally released Windows 7 compatible drivers for both x64 - x86 versions for Aspire 5738 and probably others... (AS 7540 ; AS 7736; AS 5736; AS 4810T; AS3810T; including all the variants of those models have Windows 7 drivers in the download page ; Travelmate from 8331 to 8571 offers Windows x86 and x64 drivers as well..)

To download them, go to http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/ , select Aspire 5738 model or any other model mentioned previously, select OS "Windows 7 Ultimatex64" (In Travelmate driver downloads you can choose between x64 and x86 ).

Every driver there has inside the x86 driver included :)

NOTE: Even the ones that doesnt have an "x86" or 32bit folder they also work!

    Tested on my Aspire 5738.

Everything works perfectly also de LAUNCH MANAGER!!!!!

    LASTEST LAUNCHMANAGER: V3.0.04

    Good find, kbzona!
Any word if the Launch Manager works for all existing Acer models on Windows 7?

I checked the list there of AS 5738 there.
All AS5738 models(ZG, G, and so on) have the driver/application for Windows 7. But I wonder why the other models don't have it?
I remember I tried this software previously and it fails for me.

Thnx. I updated the list of models that offers Windows 7 drivers officially via the download page. Also i found that LaunchManager 3.0.04 is the latest version and it was listed in Travelmate 8571G

v3.0.03 was listed in AS 7540 drivers; v3.0.01 was listed in 7736 and v3.0.00 was listed in AS5736, AS5738 and AS4810T

I've personally installed v3.0.03 in my AS5738 and it works like a charm! i'll try with 3.0.04 now

I will try them all. LOL. Hope one of it works for me.
If none of them work for me, then, I will use back Vista's. T.T

Sad..... All those drivers fail for my AS 6920G. I think it won't work on all machines especially older machines.
    Anyway, thanks for sharing.

I have an Aspire 5610z, tried to install Launch Manager, works only to OSD the volume command on Fn+Up/Down arrows.
When I trigger the brightness up (Fn+Right Key) it works, but shows up the Bluetooth OSD information. The sidepanel (multimedia keys) and upperside panel don't work at all.
Tried even the locoelbario tip, but the OSD system only gets worse, without correcting the problem.

    Anybody have other ideias?

I have an Acer Aspire 5738 (Part number: LX.PAJ0X.172 )
I installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, and I downloaded from the Acer UK website all the drivers for the Windows 7 Professional specifically for 5738, but there seem to be many drivers for every part of the laptop:
For example, there are drivers for 3G (My laptop doesn't have 3G)
There are two drivers for the touchpad, one is TouchPad_ALPS_7.5.2015.1103_W7x64W7x86_A and the other is TouchPad_Synaptics_13.2.2.0_W7x64W7x86_A
How can I know which one of these to install? Is my touch pad ALPS or Synaptics?
and the same for everything, the Wireless card, the modem, the VGA, webcam, ...
I tried to see if the information is available in the device manager but couldn't?

Any help is very much appreciated.
    Thanks
