Looks like the Aspire 5720G can be upgraded to the 9600M GT without any issues.
So the question is - can the 6920G? And why not the 5920G thus far?

How did you find this? It's not linked to any other page of the MXM Video Quest site. I know that this guy is selling video cards on ebay but he doesn't mention anything else on the page (how he did it, any problems, what type of card, any drivers issues, any photos of the card etc.). Probably, he will start selling them on ebay asap considering how may people will want to buy it. So far this type of card are sold in auctions around £130-£140. Wait and see I guess.

Actually, I found this because he DID put up one 9600M GT GDDR3 from Acer for sale. It went the same day listed, and it had the link in its description.

"Nvidia MXM Graphics Card, GeForce 9600M GT, 512MB DDR3 (Acer Bios)"
that was what the fleabay ad said for the one i bought, what i got was 9600m gs 256mb ddr3 (engineering sample) so BUYER BEWARE as they say. anyhow, mine did work with no problems and good upgrade anyway, 3dmark 06 is about 4900 on vista 64, only missing the temp sensor (no feedback on that yet

We have to wait and see the results from the person who bought it. Of course they have to be readers of these forums or the laptopvideo2go's. Even though the MXMVideoQuest site looks very professional and they know what they are doing, I really hope they didn't make an extra webpage just to convince people to buy the card. I know most people who bought 9600M GT from ebay, they got another card. I am one of them, I got a 8600M GT 512MB DDR2 which, by the way, wasn't working. At least I got my money back.
Oh, This Is Interesting!
