    Hey guys,

I have a 1.5 yr. old Aspire that all of the sudden won't turn on. At first I thought the screen was broken, happened once before, but all i heard was the fan turn on. I tried to push the power button but all I get is the charging light blinking orange 5 times. I don't know what it could be. Any suggestions? I just picked up a 4830t so having a laptop is not a problem but I was hoping to sell it. Also is it possible to get my data out of my hard drive if the motherboard is corrupted? Thanks for the help

Try removing the battery and AC power and then press and hold power button for 20 seconds. Refit battery and adapter and try again.
