Hi, recently I've bought an Acer Aspire 9420... There was Windows Vista Home Premium installed... no problem yet... then I wanted to install Ubuntu, so I've resized the D: partition, and got a 25GB partition to install Ubuntu.
No problem. Problem started when I installed OpenSuse on the Ubuntu Partition. Problem is when I want to boot Win Vista, but I can't because it restarts the computer without saying any message...
I can't recover it because when I start the recovery partition (Acer uses a Partition with WinXp to Recover the system), it throws an error ('Fail to get partition 1 drive letter')...
    How do I repair it?
And sorry for my bad English.
    Bye!

    *PS*
I tried to reinstall Grub on the MBR, but it does not solve my problems...

did u make sure u have correctly configured grub (i.e to boot vista from C: drive itself)

did u try safe mode for vista (since this is a system restart there is a chance of mbr corruption)

ok .... as soon as you press windows vista in grub hold down F8 key..... this will take u to the vista boot menu where u can choose safe mode... try to do a system restore and check if its working
