    Hi,

I am trying to disassemble my TravelMate 5520 so that I can get access to the power connector (the part that you plug the power cable into).

    Main Issue:
The connector has gotten loose inside the casing and is misaligned with the opening. Now, whenever I try to plug in the power cable, it shifts and I'm not able to plug it in. So I want to open up the laptop to see if I can fix/glue the connector part back in place so that it remains fixed.

    Attempted Fix:
I'm having problems getting the casing open. I've taken out all the screws from the underside of the laptop and the casing seems to be coming apart normally along every part of the edge except the two back corners where it appears to be glued down or something.

    Question:
How do I go about opening up the laptop? I feel like I've tried applying a substantial amount of force already and I don't want to break it. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

EDIT: If there is a better forum to post this in (i.e. hardware issues or something similar, please let me know!)
