    Hello everyone,
I own an ACER Aspire 5672Awlmi (5670 series) notebook
    Intel Core DUO 1,73
    120Gb SATA @5400
ATI Mobility X1600 up to 512hypermemory
    2Gb DDR2 Ram
    etc

My only problem is its temperatures from the first day i bought it - especially during summer months.

I found some threads that mention downvoltaging as a possible solution and o downloaded all the appropriate software. The thing is that my CPU temperature remains at 84 - 90 C and as all tutorias agree i need to make experiments to see over which voltage my laptop is not crashing and having blue screens. Has anyone set up a similar laptop (or a laptop with similar configuration) to tell me the voltages used to make it run?

    Thanks for your time!

    Regards,
    A.

Ever cleaned your laptop(fan&heatsink)? You must do it every 2-3 month to prevent overheat problems. It'll be very hard to find voltages that would work with your CPU. I've seen 3 CPUs same model - T7500 - all different voltages. So IMO if you want the undervolting to be done right you gotta do it yourself. Check the links below.

    Several things to suggest here

#1. Compressed air - clean that thing out!
#2. NHC is amazing, just set it to battery usage and leave it when you aren't gaming
#3. Clean the thermal compound and replace it using my guilde (do a google search)
#4. Give it proper breathing and air. My CPU runs at 48-52C idle and 70c gaming.
