    Hi, leus.
    I'm looking for a solution to this problem myself. However, if you uninstall the driver, your webcam should show up as a "USB Video Device" under "My Computer." The quality is GREATLY diminished, and you can't adjust settings or properties, but at least you can take a picture.

    Also, I'm not sure where you are writing from, but using proper grammar might help you get a response. If english is your second language, you should also note that in your post. Just some advice.

    I'll let you know if/when I get a solution to this problem.

    ok check that your orbicam is not set to run at start-up in msconfig if it is any time you wish to use it you will get a conflict. so uncheck the box for bisonbar in msconfig and restart your laptop.
    yes it is seen as USB but that makes no difference.
    once that is done you should have a shortcut to bisonbar/orbicam on desktop.
    you can also use the orbicam in windows movie maker aswell

    Yes, I don't use the drivers provided by Acer. I just use the default driver and use Acer Crystal Eye software.
