as i read from so many threads in this forum there seems to be a myriad of problems with this cam and vista.

    i own an Aspire 3680

    Bison manufacture my orbicam.

the bison driver did not work period. i was told by acer to install the Suyin driver and utilities which i did, at least i thought i had, but it isn't registered in device manager; that still tells me i have the Bison driver.

is there anything that can be done about this to get the ****ing cam working?

are there any other drivers people can advise that may work?

i have read in a thread here that acer have admitted that they have a vista orbicam compatability issues... if this is infact true, they didn't mention it to me. they did also comment that i could do a disk2disk system recovery, as that might set things right. i didn't get any disks when i got my laptop so i won't be able to do this i gather, nonetheless, has anyone done this and found it to fix the orbicam problem?

    thanks
