    Guys
there are a bunch of websites selling the 3201xmi (80GB and DVD Dual- though some claim to be selling the DVD Super Multi) for about 960-980 pounds...roughly comes to 1500$.
Planning to swing by LOndon during my next trip and pick it up.

    Any suggestions on warranty?

Get the 3 year extended complete protection. This includes the Acidental Damage Protection. If not this one, just get the standard 3 year extended warranty, this way, you're covered for 3 years from date of purchase. The 1st major repair would have more than paid for the extended warranty.
