Hi, im new to the notebook scene but ive been doing alot of research. Im going to buy a Ferrari 4000 in 3-4 months, but i have a question. Are you able to call and order a notebook directly from Acer? Or do you have to get it from one of the Acer Re-sellers?

    Thanks in Advance.

I don't think you order directly from Acer.

Yep, Acer only sells through its resellers, there is no direct ordering facility.

In the United Kingdom you can order a laptop directly from Acer by calling them on their free-phone :) And you get free delivery as well :) That's convenient isn't it? :D

I'll tell you or anyone going to buy an Acer laptop in Canada the worst place to do it. It is a small chain of small computer stores run by a few asian crooks called IC Computers which is located in Calgary, Alberta. You order stuff with them, they charge you and never send ordered items. Obviously they never answer phone calls. And the worst thing is that Acer Canada management (namely Mr. Dan Engbert responsile for Alberta province) actually doesn't give a s**t about it which means they approve frauds! Nice job, gentlemen. And you strive to be a 3rd notebook selling company in the world by 2006? Hope you change your attitude and customer service completely by then. Or rather you create one...
