    Overclock or Underclock
    -Download SetFSB
    -Choose SLG8SP513v pll
    -Click get FSB
    -To underclock, select 100mhz (1.2ghz)
    -To overclock, select 166mhz (2.0ghz)

Note: This only works if you have SLG8SP513v pll clock generator. If you have ICS9LPRS365. According to the acer aspire one service manual, these 2 clock generators are used. Acer might have also added some pll clock generator to the list, so it might not work for newer acer aspire one.

    Undervolt Intel Atom processor
    -Download CrystalCPUID
-Lock multiplier by either disabiling speedstep or enable speedstep to restricted the processor to 6x multipler (1.6ghz).
-Lower or increase the processor voltage

Overclock Intel GMA 950 graphic card
    -download gmabooster

Really useful, thanks. Can anyone confirm the above? I'd love to include it into the index sticky.

Will only work if you turn off speed step and must be in AC mode. It goes for most atom based netbooks

Maybe I should add some clearification in my instructions. I've said "lock the multiplier to either 6x (800mhz) or 12x (1.6ghz), which means sort of turning off speed step.

Also.. I've tried this on battery power and it still works. I've checked the voltage with cpuz and crystal cpuid.

I've sent the SETFSB's developer requesting for PLL generator support. So far, I know 3 different model of pll generators on Acer Aspire one. There's only partial support for SLG8SP513v clock generator. When i hear back from the developer, I'll update this thread.

i tried SLG8SP513v on my acer one 150 8.9 and it says pll id error.

it wont let me overclock at all.

i tried to look for ICS9LPRS365 but it doesn't show it in setfsb

Only Acer Aspire one with SLG8SP513V clock generator will work with SetFSB.

I pulled my Aspire One apart to fit extra RAM and a faster HDD.
Checked the PLL and I too have a SLG8SP513V on my motherboard.

I fired up SetFSB 2.2.123.90 and tested it, it does not overclock it or underclock it.
Put it this way, nothing happens, no change whats so ever.

Doesn't work, is something missing from the author of the program that is stopping it from overclocking at this stage?

Lookup the datasheet for SLGSP513V and see what config register reports if they have used Trusted Mode Enable locking to prevent software overclocking. You can use setfsb's Diagnosis window to read the config register status. Can see how this is done with an ICS 9xxxxx PLL here.

    Hey,

Any updates on this for the newer One's? Would love to bump the speed a bit... I snagged the $298 from Wal-mart, the one with the bigger screen and 160gb drive with XP.... have loved it so far!

I have the 513V chip and I can't overclock it. It will still display original frequencies after I press 'set fsb'.

Can't find the datasheet to find out.

i took apart my d250 when i modded a bluetooth dongle to it and found that i had a different PLL ICS 9LPRS387BKLF...

[EDIT] i opened setfsb and used the ics 365 pll and as you can see... the pll is partially recognized.... so i guess it is a modified version of 365

byte 09=0xE5=11100101b. Bit 6=1, so TME=on, no overclocking. Try the TME-workaround. If no success, consider a pinmod to disable TME to allow software PLL programming shown in the same link.

    Hello.

I've bought an Acer Aspire One D250-1DK, some weeks ago.

When I enter this: SLG8SP513v pll, in SetFSB I just get PLL Error.

It must be becouse I have the newest model of D250. I really want to OC this Intel Atom N280, anyone?

    Kind Regards, Blixmo.

Hmm, I was going to try this in SetFSB but those plls was not avaible in the list..

Well, thank you so much! Maybe I just have to wait for a new SetFSB release.

Hate to tell you guys this, but I have reason to believe the setFSB jack selected is a virus, here's the norton report of the web page.
