I'm having problems trying to overclock my gpu.
I'm using the nvidia official beta drivers 178.28 IRC.
Ntune will install but if i try to run it my whole computer hangs. Its not in the control panel either. Rivatuner will let me move the sliders but it won't apply my clocks.

Same laptop and same problem. Though Ntune always crashes after the install but i think i saw it in my program list yesterday so it might of worked but doubt it will run anyway. I've tried Rivatuner and ATItool and none work.
I think you need to install a certain driver to get it to work with the laptop but driver is something like 169.xx and not really bothered to try it or remember the correct number D: -
169.04 is the old standard for getting overclocking to work, but people have said 181.20 works, too.
-
169.04 works, but I have got any other drivers to work yet so I am sticking with this one.

Is it WHQL? -
It is, but if you use the modded INF, that breaks WHQL.
-
OP: Your drivers arent OC'able thats why its resetting back.
New overclocking standard driver is 185.20. I was stuck on 169.04 for a very long time. These new drivers are much much better. -

Surprised 179.28 didn't work - that's what I'm on.
