Have an Acer Aspire 8935g and running vista ultimate 64 bit.
When playing World of Warcraft find that the machine will get very hot and then screen flash red; green; blue and gray and white check then black screen and freeze.
Have to restart machine and windows tells me it a bluescreen but no solution  .
Laptop is on a flat hard surface and notice with game that hard drive is working fairly hard and am wondering if someone is having the same type of problem.
Windows is up to date along with all drivers.

Use software to monitor your CPU and GPU temperature- like HW monitor for example.
Also use canned air (gas duster) to clean the vents- just for starters.
