I am going to buy a notebook in next few weeks, and I couldn't decide, which one to buy. I have chosen 2 models, Dell Inspiron 6000 and Travelmate 8100. I have read a few reviews about those notebooks, and I have decided to go for TravelMate 8100, but then when I was told that the TravelMate notebook would cost me about 4500 dollars australian dollars (which is 3533 american dollars). I can't understand why the same notebook would cost 1200 USD more than in America. This really sucks. I have checked Acer Singapore website and the price is approx. 3150 AUD. Well, I will be buying Dell Inspiron 6000. Does anyone can suggest different notebooks?
