HI, I have an Acer Aspire 1804, completely original as when bought ( has 2 gig of ram ) runs every day , love it!
I run either Xp, Vista or Suse 12.1. I would like to run Haiku from a Flash drive but I can't get it to boot from the USB. The Bios is the latest for this machine and shows USB as one of the boot options. However, when I press the F12 key ( to change boot order ) at bootup it only shows HD and OD no USB. So, I assume USB is not an option.
My question: is there a way to boot say from the OD and then switch to the USB?( used to be able to do it when DOS was all the rage, sorry, showing my age ).
Any help as always would be greatly appreciated.
    cheers,
    Eddie.
