    Hi,
Quick question : Processor P8400 - what are cpu speeds?

I noticed that are only two 1600 and 2260 MHZ.
Should not be one more: for example 800 Mhz?

What program are you using - CPU-Z? If you are, press [F9] and it will show you the actual speed. My P8400 goes down to 800MHz.

    Thx Chaz,

I have CPU-Z but never used F9 and that is why always showed me 1600 and 2260 MHz.

Yeah, I was puzzled too until someone showed me that. ;) So, you're not alone.

I notice on AC power, my P8400 runs at mostly 2.2 - 2.3GHz.

I think the P8400 is a great processor, definitely no slouch and it's a good value.

For those who may ask the same question in the future, try reading the documentation and F.A.Q. provided by CPUID.... http://cpuid.com/cpuz.php -_-
