    Hi!

I have merged the pqservice partition into the C:/ drive. I fixed the MBR, so my system is starting properly. I was just wondering if I could use the files i've merged from the pqservice partition to install another system on a different partition. If it's possible, please tell my how?? :)

    Besides that:

Is it possible to have on 2 different partitions Windows XP that comes with Acer, can I install from the recovery CD, e.g. windows on C: and later, from the same recovery cd windows on D: ?

Are you asking if it is possible to have two partitions on your hard drive? The first being your main windows install and the second being a second windows installation?

If so then of course. Simply format and install windows on D:. this will require you to have a windows xp oem media disk not a recovery or restore disk, but an actual real windows xp oem disk.!

Ok, so I have to buy an OEM version of Windows XP. I've just thought that having a recovery CD (which installs windows xp on drive C :) is enough to install windows xp on drive D: as well. Is it technically possible?

In case I'm not clear enough I want my computer to look like:

    1. C: - Windows XP (with all the Acer Tools)
    2. D: - Windows XP (with all the Acer Tools)
    3. E: - Logical partition

In case the above is impossibe:

When I buy OEM version of Windows XP can i install it twice on the same computer (on C: and D :) or am I braking the law?
